AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care

I'm so grateful for my recent experience with AAMCO. I had taken my car to get an oil change elsewhere and was told that it looked like my transmission was leaking. They referred me to AAMCO down the street and said Brad and the team would do a good job looking at it. That was on a Sunday. I drove over since it was close and talked to Josh, the store manager. He was very clear with me about what the potential causes would be and helped me book an appointment to bring my car in a couple days later at the first available appointment for Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon, they called me to explain that there definitely wasn't a transmission leak but that what the source was was unclear, but they would figure it out. One day later, they had it completely figured out and fixed with a very minor piece! Despite having the car and working on it for more than two days, they only charged me for the diagnostic review ($199), which could have been so much worse given how much labor they had to put into diagnosing the issue. I'm really glad to know these guys are there next time I had an issue!

I had a complicated insurance-related repair on my car. Josh made sure everything got sorted out and that the right parts were installed, even though the insurance company sent the wrong ones at first. I appreciate him staying on top of it and making sure it was done right.

Brad and team completely rebuilt my transmission in January. The parts ended up being faulty and without one complaint, they totally ate the cost of labor and rebuilt the transmission that was still under warranty. I super appreciate all their hard work. They definitely went above and beyond to make it right!

Talk about honest and reliable mechanics. These guys are the best. Came in with a passanger van that had a bunch of issues. Not only did they help with the decision process of what needed to be done now vs later based on use, they went above and beyond to help keep the cost as affordable as possible. Now the van runs like a dream. I will be bringing all my future business here. Brad & Josh are amazing people as well.
